Who are we really, and why are we here? 

In this episode, Pastor Randy sits down with Trevor King for an honest conversation about identity, purpose, and the search for meaning. Raised in the church but feeling disconnected from God personally, Trevor shares what it looked like to go through the motions while searching for identity everywhere else. 

From chasing status, independence, achievement, partying, relationships, and different expressions of identity, there was still a lingering feeling that something was missing. Even after exploring success, sexuality, masculinity, and self-definition, fulfillment always seemed just out of reach. 

Trevor also speaks openly about feeling hurt and disconnected from church culture while still carrying empathy for people trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. 

Then came surrender. 

After years of searching and trying to carry life alone, anxiety and stress reached a point where nothing seemed to help. In that place, surrendering to God became the turning point that changed everything. 

Now, Trevor’s identity is no longer rooted in status, achievement, or approval, but in being a child of God. 

This episode is about searching, wrestling, surrender, and discovering that real transformation only comes through the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit.
